Aggie Ocean Engineers Place in 2006 International Student Offshore Design Competition

In 2006, the student teams from Ocean Engineering at Texas A&M University took 2nd through 5th place at the 2006 International Student Offshore Design Competition (ISODC). The 1st place award went to the University of Michigan.

This was a great performance, and our results are presented below. Congratulations to each team for placing in the competition.

Students in the senior capstone design class (OCEN 407) work in teams of four to six for the whole spring semester to develop and write up their designs. The ISODC competition emphasizes the quality of the design as well as the quality of the written project.
