Undergraduate Advising

The objective of the student undergraduate advising information is to give a reference for ocean engineering faculty, staff, and students. Keeping information of this type current is very difficult since university, college, department and program rules, regulations, and guidelines are always subject to change. Therefore, all faculty, staff, and students must be alert to these possible changes and inquire with applicable administrative offices, current Student Rules and the Undergraduate Catalog.

The Undergraduate Academic Advisor is Prof. Robert Randall. His office is in CE/TTI 801. You should contact him for questions about the Ocean Engineering Program, including removing blocks from your registration, transferring into Ocean Engineering, selecting courses for each semester, Q-Drop, and other related items.

The Advising Guide (PDF) gives additional information for the undergraduate program and is updated regularly.
